December baking

Lemon tart, Japanese sponge bûche, Swiss apple tart, and a first and rushed attempt at a Diorama gingerbread theatre, to be redone next year on a grander scale.

Hermé Chocolate praline slices

A first try at making Pierre Hermé's really delicious chocolate praline slices. Unfortunately I lost patience at the crucial point of putting it all together but I just about managed a rectangle, albeit with untidy edges, and a bit of a mirror shine as you can see from the pot's reflections.
