Pass the biscuits, please

Gold Medal Wedding cookie favours

At the recent  C a k e   I n t e r n a t i o n a l   2 0 1 3   C a k e  a n d   B a k i n g  h o w   held in London (hosted by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood),  I entered the competition in the new "wedding decorated cookies" section.

The entries were judged on appeal, sugarcraft skills, baking quality and of course, taste.  Quite a few of my cookies were eaten by the judges... including my best one.

The wedding cookies received a gold medal and first place.

Royal Iced cookies are very special and make pretty and elegant wedding favours either placed on the plate setting or wrapped individually in a bag tied with a pretty ribbon ready for guests to take away.

At the prize giving ceremony with two talented sugarcrafters from Japan
